Our Story
Legacy Merch is the creation of two brothers; born from the desire to make their own career paths where they could actively pursue their passion for screenprinting and custom apparel. In 2009 Dylan Davis had been running a small indie brand for several years and had used multiple printers in his search to find high quality prints. Later that year at a music festival in Los Angeles Dylan and Matt were running a merch booth selling Dylan’s tees. They watched as fans waited in lines for hours to buy merch from their favorite bands and brands. Some where between Circa Survive and AFI an idea was conceived. Much of the merch being sold was poorly printed and the brothers thought there was much room for improvement. The framework for Legacy Merch was built on the long drive home from L.A. to Dallas. By the time they had reached El Paso a name and loose business plan were on paper. A print shop dedicated to providing high quality print services for brands and bands was to be the focus and Legacy Merch was to be its name. After a nearly a year of research and education the brothers were ready to start. The business started in Matt’s garage on a manual press and small dryer. Soon enough, screens, cases of tees, and gallons of ink took over Matt and his wife’s home. Within six months the business was moving into a professional space and upgrading to automatic printing equipment to keep up with the growing clientele.
Today Legacy Merch services clients all across the US offering a wide range of apparel printing styles and finishing options. Our mission now remains just as it was after that immaculate conception in L.A.; to provide high quality prints to each and every client and enjoy every minute of it.
